With the gulf between traditional and alternative medicine growing, it feels as though holistic healing is going through its own renaissance and making a huge emergence into our everyday lives at the moment. If you haven’t heard of Faster EFT chances are that you’re a (welcome) newcomer to the world of holistic health and wellbeing. In this blog, I’ll be talking a look at Faster EFT, its origins, the pain points and a few of my case studies.

HISTORY
Faster EFT (Emotionally Focused Transformation) was developed by Robert Smith as an evolution of Emotional Freedom Technique or tapping, which emerged in the 1990s. Faster EFT introduced the philosophy of neuroplasticity to the suite of techniques already used to enable emotional freedom and transformation.

WHAT IS FASTER EFT
Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to form new neural connections and therefore re-channel and re-direct thought processes. This means that we as individuals have the power to transform the way we deal emotionally with challenges in our life. By tapping into our own programming, we give ourselves control over our past, present and future.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
Faster EFT is a counselling-based therapy that explores the unhelpful thought processes operating on a cognitive and emotional level that are holding you back in life. These processes will be governing the way you view your past and the way you operate your future. Faster EFT sessions clear out negative experiences, references and beliefs and pave the way to release anxieties, depression, negative patterns of behaviour, trauma, health issues and move forward in their life.

Faster EFT works for many issues and the focus is on teaching people to help themselves which can be done through a trained practitioner or by learning how to use it to help ourselves:

1 – Relationship difficulties
