Welcome to your Morning Meditation and Yoga 30-minute class, led by Strala founder Tara Stiles.

What’s usual is getting to our list of tasks and to-do’s first, and maybe finding some you-time later. If you make it there. So how do you make what’s usual into something that’s unusually good? It’s simple. Put you at the top of your list.

It’s not selfish, indulgent, or even impractical. It doesn’t take much, it just takes something, a little bit each day to put you in a better place. The thing about this better place is, it’s not only better for you. It’s better for everyone.

Always you create from what you have for yourself. Always you give from what you have for yourself. Replacing disconnection with harmony, force with peace, first in your own body and mind, does the same for everyone around you. It also does the same for the world around you.

About the Founders

Strala was created by Tara Stiles, drawing on her background in classical ballet and choreography, as well as her long-time personal practice in yoga. Tara trained with Paul Taylor Dance Company choreographer and dancer Eileen Cropley, and began her yoga study in the 1990s with her ballet teacher, Rory Foster of American Ballet Theater.

The science and movement of Strala is also guided by Strala co-founder Mike Taylor. Mike studied mind-body medicine at Harvard, and complementary medicine at Oxford. He has practiced Eastern movement and healing, including tai chi and qi gong, for 30 years.

Our program is backed by mind-body medicine pioneer Dr. Deepak Chopra, and Harvard Neurology Chair and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Rudolph Tanzi.
