Erin Balsa – The Research Report Playbook
Over the past five years, I’ve helped B2B SaaS companies generate MILLIONS of dollars in revenue by creating the kind of research reports people actually want to read and share—like my infamous Remote Work Report
I’ve packed EVERYTHING you need to know about research report planning, creation, and distribution into this course, which includes my project management TEMPLATE.
In this course, I answer all your burning questions:
How do I come up with a compelling storyline?
How do I get valid data?
What if the data doesn’t support the story I want to tell?
Am I supposed to gate the report for lead gen?
How do I project manage all the moving parts?
Why is my butt itchy? (Well on second thought, not ALL your burning questions.)
If you know me from my LinkedIn posts, you know my content has an edge to it. So expect some sarcasm, and maybe a swear or two. And expect to walk away with the knowledge and confidence you need to start creating your own research reports.

About Me
Hi! I’m Erin Balsa, founder of Haus of Bold where I help B2B SaaS companies build revenue-generating content engines in 6-12 months. When I’m not busy with client work, I host “The Notorious Thought Leader” podcast and demystify thought leadership for B2B marketers in my newsletter, “Leading Thoughts.”
Prior to Haus of Bold, I was a marketing director at The Predictive Index, an Inc. 5,000 B2B SaaS startup. I have a decade of experience writing, editing, and leading content teams.
I’ve written bylined articles for popular B2B SaaS sites like HubSpot, Drift, G2, and Greenhouse. My clients include innovative enterprise tech companies like monday.com, People.ai, Intellum, and Uniphore. I’m also a marketing advisor to B2B tech startups including Navattic.
I have been featured by the American Marketing Association, Content Marketing Institute, Content Marketing Conference, ASJA Conference, Masters of Content, Content Logistics, Orbit Media, and more.
In my free time, I like to get tattoos, drink wine, and take long sits on the couch.
Pourquoi mes fesses me démangent-elles ?
