So you can make choices that keep you true to yourself & calm within yourself.
Yoga means union.
The yoga of self-love gives you simple but mighty practices that empower you to create more calm, clarity and courage within by creating a deeper union with yourself.
You don’t need to do bendy postures, in fact you can do the practices from bed, while sipping tea or wherever you are when you need a head or heart re-set during the day.
Mental, emotional and physical wellness starts from within, in our hearts, which dictate the feelings and thoughts we have that lead to the actions we take.

The Yoga of Self Love:
Simple Practice You Can Do to Stay Connected to Yourself
In today’s intense world, you don’t need more information.
In fact, all the information is overwhelming you.
I believe that what we need are practices & wisdom that create connection & transformation.
Simple practices with the power to shift feelings of anxiety, doubt and confusion that can creep in, into states of calm, clarity and confidence that enable us to make supportive, empowering choices.
This is where practicing the 10 kinds of self-love, which get to your heart, become your super power. After a decade+ of testing and teaching these in many ways — books, workshops, online programs – in 2020, I’ve simplified these practices into a format that can support you to strengthen your connection to your heart, which rules your decisions and emotions much more than your mind.
Mindfulness and simple self-care are good, but not enough.
Fluffy self-love memes make you feel good but evaporate when the sh$t hits the fan.
The yoga of self-love is like a weekly heart tune up that gets and keeps you connected to yourself, and harmonizes your heart to a field of calm.
If you would love simple practices that can keep you connected to yourself, tuned into your heart and your truth – so you can stay centered, calm, clear and courageous – keep reading…
I created this to fit into your life as a structure that supports & nourishes you, not another thing you have to do.
Here’s how it works.
One: We focus on strengthening one branch of self-love each month, which touches the 10 kinds of support your heart needs to stay strong and stable, which will keep your mind clear and calm.
Here’s the order of the flow. We find it’s really powerful and doable to focus on just one branch of self love over a four week period.
Self Compassion – Turn self-inflicted pressure, criticism and judgement into patience, understanding and gentleness.
Self Trust – Transform self-doubt and confusion into clarity and courage.
Self Empowerment – Stop just dreaming about what you want to manifest in your life. Get rooted in your heart’s desires, so you can step boldly forward in ways that stretch you + feel good!
Self Awareness & Honesty – Get clear on who you are, who you are not, and reveal how you can bring your life more into alignment with your heart and soul.
Self Acceptance – Transform comparison, future tripping, and negative body talk into an embodied sense of contentment that inspires you to grow.
Self Expression – Release fear of being seen and standing out. Embrace your true essence and let your freak flag fly.
Self Care – Stop sacrificing yourself for your work, mission or others, and open up your heart to name, claim and receive what you need, without apology.
Self Pleasure – Stop waiting for the day you have space to enjoy life. Take a stand for savoring your life and creating space for what nourishes your soul, now!
Self Respect and Honor – Transform toxic or draining relationships. Take a stand to only have loving, respectful relationships, personally and professionally.
Self-Esteem – Name and claim your gifts so you can feel how you are making a difference in the world, and stop trying to fit into what the outside world deems valuable.
Self Worth – Redefine your definition of success to match what is true in your heart so you have the power to design a life you love.
Take a Self Love Pulse Check and Make Your 2021 Self Love Promise – In honor of Self Love Day on Feb 13th, see where you are weak and strong in self-love, and take one promise you will keep all year to ensure you stay true to yourself.
Self-love is at the foundation of your choices in your work, relationships & health.
Most people have not been taught how to develop a strong internal foundation.
The 10 branches of self-love + these self-love practices
are a structure that will help you develop a strong internal foundation.
TWO: We share the practices in a way that support you to be stronger, clearer, calmer and more centered in your life.
It’s like a weekly yoga class, but this comes to you, so you can flow this into your life.
The practices are about connecting to yourself, not about doing bendy postures or meditating for an hour. No yoga mat or experience needed.
Most of the practices take 3-11 minutes, you can do them as part of creating or deepening your morning or evening routine, as a reason to take me-time, or whenever you need a mental or emotional reset. This is support for you!
You receive a practice each week, focused on the same branch of self-love for that month.
Week 1: Receive a Daily Morning Practice for the Month – delivered in a short video and a practice card you can print out. This becomes a part of how you start your day, for you!
Week 2: Receive A Heart Harmonizing Meditation – you can listen to restore calm, clarity, courage and connection to yourself.
Week 3: Receive a Self Awareness Practice that helps you connect and communicate with your heart desires and inner wisdom – a video/audio + written out practice that includes simple but potent inquiries and creative inspiration, that tunes you into what is true for you and gives you permission to receive the support your heart needs. I call these Daring Acts of Love, they are FUN, enlightening and empowering.
Week 4: Receive Daily Love Boosts + Mantra the last 5 days of the month that just make you feel good. A happy heart = more centered you. These will appear in your inbox during the last week of each month to bring you more love and joy and to lighten the load on your mind and heart. Super short. But it feels so good!
You decide each month how much ‘self-love’ you need. You can’t fall behind.
It’s not a program or a class you have to learn. This is a support structure that shows up in your life so you don’t forget about you, so you can stay true to who you are and what you desire to create and cause for yourself and what really matters.
If all you do is the daily morning practice – you will see a difference.
The way you start your day is how you live your day. Without a strong connection to yourself, you are like a windsock with no pole, reacting to the swirl around you.
I asked some people to share what they experience and receive from bringing the practice of self-love into their daily lives through these teachings. Here’s what they wanted to share with you….
“I have learned so many tools and ways to comfort and trust myself. I still have more to grow but I have gained confidence and a voice to be heard in the world.”
“When life gets hectic and busy it’s sometimes easy to start putting myself later on the list, but receiving these practices weekly from Christine gives me an opportunity to renew my commitments to myself… to love myself and create space for myself no matter what.”
“I thought I had self-love down, but I don’t. Christine has shown me there are many aspects of self-love. Receiving and doing these practices in my day to day life has enriched me so much.”
I have grown more in the last few years through this self-love support than ANY therapist i’ve ever had. Why? Because you give specific instructions on how to move forward. Thank you!
“The fresh, vibrant, radiant presence of Christine is my inspiration to stay positive and kind to myself. The support I receive from these practices means SO much to me.”
A Note from my Heart to Yours:
While I wish we could be together in person, on retreat, where I could teach and give you these practices, I know that’s not always an option. Plus, giving these to you in this way, supports you to use these practices within your daily life to ‘do’ your life differently.
We do the practices so that when the challenging stuff happens, we have the power and wisdom within to return to our center and make choices – big and small. When your inner connection to yourself is strong, you RECEIVE what you need … you STAY TRUE to yourself… you TRUST yourself… so you can be the strong and compassionate leader, parent, friend, partner and human you have the potential to be.
I continue to teach these practices of self-love because the human heart needs them more than ever.
In the women’s leadership and empowerment work I do, most women lack a strong self-love foundation,
they just don’t know it, because self-esteem and self-confidence are only 1/10th of what we need.
In 2020, the teachings and practices are still very relevant. I still do them myself. The practices are playful & powerful. People tell me the practices have changed their lives. For the last 8 years, we’ve called this The Love Club. Based on the teaching from my book Madly in Love with Me.
This year I have shifted the structure to really focus on the practices, one per week, one branch per month. I’ve added live ‘Heart Harmonizing’ sessions for all of my communities and classes, which you will be invited to. And I’ve created a new ‘self love practice’ library where you can access the practices and deeper teaching videos on each of the branches for as long as you are a practicing member.
I also re-named this ‘the yoga of self-love’ this year because I believe that having a practice that connects us to ourselves, our hearts and our higher knowing and truth that we do daily, is essential in the intense times.
May these practices serve you to stay centered and sustained as I know you are out in the world making a difference to what truly matters to you.
